I started the study of the hanger looking for the language and style of the designer, Ron Arad. Also, I explored natural hangers, such as cocoons.
In ideation, I decided to look for a variety of shapes and forms based on the idea of the cocoon. The hanger is made of paper mache and fabric.
It is designed to hold woman’s long dresses and men’s coats and ties.
We designed this product with the purpose to serve the intentions of the users. Additionally, we created this product based on the idea of the users having a full control of the product’s limitations.
During the ideation process we looked for a certain type of form that could consistently change as result of the user’s creativity. We focused on the idea of designing and creating spaces through geometry.

In spring 2012, I participated in a confidential sponsored class project with The Coca-Cola Company. In this project, I teamed with a colleague from the graphic design department to develop new package concepts for a product within the still beverage division of The Coca-Cola Company. We went through a process of research, conceptualization, and refinement to develop working scale prototypes of new packages complete with new brand identity and marketing/merchandising concepts.
The main goal of this project was to understand the industrial process of plastic and metal. The project was divided into two sections, designing the metal legs first, and then designing the plastic.
During the ideation process my main focus was to look for an organic shape that describes a young audience. Also, I looked for a geometry that possessed personality and character.

Eva is not only about a seductive form and volume in relation to a utilitarian idea; it is more than that. Eva evokes curiosity in a democratic scene in which everyone has the opportunity to value, discuss, think, perceive, sympathize, doubt, argue and internalize the ideology of “the bag” and its consequences.
When we think about the idea of curiosity, we first need to organize it according to a motive. Curiosity. Curiosity? Curiosity! Curiosity: “Curiosity” With these symbols we can interpret the idea of curiosity in a more complex and profound way, beyond the official definition. These symbols will lead us to diverse implications of the word, guiding us to explore more space and generate more information about the condition of the word and its significance.

The Conversation is a series of eight mugs that explores a dialectic between design and its consequences. Each mug behaves as a catalyst, provoking a new attitude towards the implications of design.
The project is arranged in three multimedia chapters: The Park, The Interview and The Kitchen. Each part presents a specific narrative to exemplify the repercussions of our design decisions…
